Violet Morrison: Director

Since graduating from CircoArts, N.Z. 8 years ago Violet has entertained audiences around the world.  She currently resides in Australia where she the director of the newly founded Hunter Valley Circus School. A recent   core member of Circus Monoxide and an associated performer with physical theatre company Legs on the Wall.  Violet specialises in all things aerial, hula-hoops, acro-balance and dabbles in whip cracking, lassoing and juggling.
Performance highlights, Unhinged Short Play Festival, aerial solo and overall winner; Tamworth Country Music Festival; Christchurch World Buskers Festival; The Magic Flute, Opera Australia; and LiveSite's Newcastle, Samuel Darks Dinner Hour, core performer and aerial choreographer.


 Elecia Johnston: Tumbling and Mini Trampoline     

Elecia has coaching qualifications in general gymnastics, women's artisitc gymnastics and trampolining. In her early career she was part of display teams that travelled within Australia and internationally (New Zealand and Europe) performing in gymnastics festivals and running workshops.  She also competed in women's artistic gymnastcis for a number of years which then lead on to coaching both competitive and display gymnastics. Elecia's main focus is now in trampolining. She currently runs levels trampolining classes and has been involved in taking children to competitions and in orgainsing competitions.

Tamara Baghous: Children's Workshop Leader
Tammy (Tamara) has been practising circus for the past 6 years at the Gunnedah Circus School. As well as performing in the company's annual shows she has mentored younger students, performed at various corporate events and taught circus workshops for children at festival and other events. She has just made the shift to Newcastle after being accepted into the polytechnics Social Work Diploma.

 
  John-Paul King: Children's Workshop Leader
John-Paul has 20 years experience in teaching sport to children as a professional tennis instructor. During this time he has managed his own tennis school and run school programs that have catered for up to 150 students at a time and holiday camps with 1500 students. He works alongside Violet in the running of classes at the Hunter Valley Circus School. He is a qualified level three instructor.
